Sendoff Concert at the Berkeley Jazzschool

  • Califonia Jazz Conservatory

This will be one of my last shows before I leave for college, and I'm pulling out all the stops.

I'll be debuting 2 new original works: The Spicer Songs, a 7-part suite of musical settings to Jack Spicer poems, and The Leaving Suite, a modern jazz art-song cycle contemplating coming of age and letting go of childhood.

With Eve Fleishman at Monument!

Excited to be singing with Eve for her new album's release show!

"Eve's jazz-tinged, retro pop is beautifully beguiling. Her accompanying musicians create their own artistic “atmospheric” expression – the songs are dreamy, wistful, even playful. Live show featuring Steven Strauss (ukulele), Kurt Stevenson (guitar), Hannah Glass (violin), Sarah Bonomo (clarinet), Jessica Schaeffer (harp), Schuyler Karr (upright bass) and more." - evefleishman.com

Joshua Tazman EP Release Concert

  • The California Jazz Conservatory

So excited to celebrate the release of Jump, my debut EP, with local jazz greats Dave MacNab (guitar), Aaron Germain (bass), and Deszon Claiborne (drums). This is going to be a new level of music-making for me – I'll be not only performing the songs from my EP with new arrangements, but I'll also be presenting a bunch of my new music, which is even more in the vein of Joni Mitchell's lyrics mixed with disjointed, funky modern jazz grooves. Hope you can make it!

Tickets $15, available at the door and for preorder at https://cjc.edu/concerts/?eid=12397
